Brother Anselm Hollingsworth is one of the monks of St. Joseph's Abbey (near Covington LA). He is a an amzing, holy man. An avid tennis player, musician and poet, he is in love with God as he lives the life of a monk. He sent me a recent reflection which I post here, with his permission.

or smile
or continue praying
listen to those infirm
who in ways unknown
are wiser and healthier than we
listen to those who have
nothing, no food, no friends
listen
with Mary, the holy mother with her first born, Jesus
and her quiet spouse, Joseph
listening to
the Word made flesh, alleluia!
