This was my second trip to Evansville to work with their teachers within 3 years. The in-services seem to start earlier and earlier.

My talk was titled “THE PASSION EPIDEMIC” and their theme was “We Are Called.” Both are at the center of Catholic Education. And you could see it in the teachers’ faces and hear it in their answers. They do believe in their call and there is a passion to be among young people in this challenging age.

I enjoyed my morning visit with 500+ educators and the afternoon with 30 religious educators.

I had a great time with Donna Halverson, director or schools. Her enthusiasm is tangible and contagious.
